The WWII Finnish Aircraft Database file has the complete 163 Me109 aircraft designated to Finland. However, there were 4 aircraft that never made it to Finland, leaving a total of 48 G-2s and 109 G-6s and 2 G-8s delivered to Finland. One G-2, MT-226 crashed in Germany during training and was NOT sent to Finland in 1943. Another G-2 was delivered in 1944 to replace MT-226, thus keeping total G-2s delivered = 48.
Two G-6s and One G-8 crashed and were not delivered:
1) MT-473 G-6 crashed in Insterberg, Germany, 2) MT-474 G-8 crashed in Riga, Latvia, and 3) MT-514 G-6 crashed in Pernauh, Estonia.

Each aircraft entry has pertinent information known about the aircraft and some of the operational history of the aircraft from delivery to write-off. Not all aircraft have complete information. All data that can be verified is included as of the
